Sketchbook Journal

9 weeks in Tokyo for my Architectural Internship in Summer 2016, I translated my thoughts into this sketchbook. In my free time from the office, as intended, I actively made through my travel list, mainly to renowned architectural sites in person - to feel, remember, document them through my own unique experience. I put in technical drawings as a process of my own research and studies, and also to share design understanding to lay audiences casually. Apart from the academic side, I felt the importance of seeing the spaces in the real context. The summer breeze in Tokyo is celebrated and everyday is made special by its cultural appreciation. Although the sketchbook was written after the trip for two years, memories were still fresh, from heart down to the paper. The sketchbook was customly designed and self-published.
